Adventure Cycling organizes Bike Travel Weekend, which requires a multi-channel promotional campaign. In 2022, the event needed a fresh look to keep things exciting. I created a poster chock-full of colorful illustrations and custom lettering. The library of illustrations made it simple to build out other assets and keep a consistent look.

The poster for the event was printed and shared with bike shops around the country to promote the event. It was also adapted for web and social use.
Outside of the poster, the campaign required a variety of other visuals. That list included all kinds of social posts, all sizes of web ads, and a host of graphics for the Adventure Cycling website.
The poster started with a delightfully simple sketch, then moved to a cleanup in Photoshop, and onto Illustrator where I used some textured brushes to keep the clean vectors lively.
