More Info & Credits

Adventure Cycling’s Bike Overnights initiative set out to get people into bike travel from anywhere. The idea was that you didn’t have to fly to Alaska and buy a zillion dollars of bike gear; you can use what you have, and have a great time, with a little help and guidance.

This Mug is Your Mug

Bike Overnights tried to get people on bikes, wherever they were at. A lot of times, that’s in urban areas. Essentially: capture the scrappy spirit with lively animals, city stuff, and encroaching nature.

Mug Illustration Sketches

I knew I wanted to try and focus on including a lot of animals that can be found just off the beaten path, or sidewalk: otters, dogs, raccoons, ravens, etc. The more mischievous, the better.
